New Start Times For 2026-27 School Year

We would like to share an important update regarding school start times beginning in the 2026–27 school year.

Beginning next school year, Ocean View School District will implement updated start and end times for our schools. These changes align with California’s school start time legislation and are designed to support student well-being and family schedules. There will be no change to morning tuition-based childcare, which will continue to begin at 6:45 a.m.

New School Start and End Times

8:00 a.m. - 1:50 p.m. (TK-3)/2:50 p.m. (4-5) | Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 12:20 p.m. (TK-5)
Circle View, College View, Golden View, Hope View, Westmont

8:20 a.m. - 2:10 p.m. (TK-3)/3:10 p.m. (4-5)  | Wednesday: 8:20 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. (TK-5)
Harbour View, Lake View, Oak View, Star View, Village View

8:40 a.m. - 3:05 p.m. | Thursday Minimum Days: 8:40 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Marine View, Mesa View, Vista View
